About 2 weeks ago, Samm ordered a beta of a new game. This was unusual for her, mostly because she wasn't much of a gamer. But she felt she HAD to have this game.
A long time ago, she had found an old book in some of her dad's belongings that held specific insturctions for what appeared the be a game...and it was interesting enough that it had strange words in it like Modus, sylladex and captulogue. What really got her attention though, was the fact that it has some names of her friends.
And for all that time she's hung onto it...and new A game called SBURB has been created...strangely matching the words on the cover of the old notebook.
First she installed the server disc, as she was instructed to..and then set up the memo. After getting some food and having a bit of a chat with one of her friends, everything was fully installed and words popped up infront of her face, scaring the shit out of her. After many moments of freaking the fuck out, she grabbed for the book and looked at it for guidence. The words offered her the choice of modus, whatever that was, and she had to choose between teddybearModus and PopupModus. Thinking Popup sounded fun, she chose that. The words thankfully disappeared, and calming her heart, she got back to work.
There was now no doubt in her mind, the strange book she's come to be intrigued by was very important. She grabbed it to go sit down but it disappeared. When she looked for it, she found that she had some strange video-game like inventory and while that was really cool, she hastily pulled the book back out and stayed at her computer, taking deep, calming breaths.
Soon enough, she recieved word that marko had gone through the same thing...at least he seemed kinda calm about it.
